Mr Kino Snip was our leading herd sire from 1983 until
his death in 1999 from lymes disease. Kino is a sire
of performance point earners and many arena champions, a grand-son of
Skip Fare who was a halter pt earner and sired AQHA champs, superior
halter and ROM arena horses. Skip Fare was by the great Skipper W,
a leading sire of AQHA champs, superior halter and performance horses, and ROM
race. Kino was by Kino Sniperoo on the bottom side, a dam of ROM arena
and show horses, a very nice mare. We owned
Kino for 17 years and raised many excellent horses out of him. Kino's
get went on to become very successful rodeo, show, dressage, and ranch horses.
We have some excellent young horses, performance horses, and broodmares remaining out
of Kino. We could go on and on about his champions, a few of them include, Spanish Sky
Watch, over $30,000 lte in barrels, team roping, and breakaway. Spanish Magnum,
SDRA barrel racing qualifier, Little Britches National Champion Breakaway roping, and
High School Rodeo State Champion. Spanish Arriba, over $10,000 lte in Breakaway
Roping. Spanish Ashley, barrel racing and heeling champion. These are just
a few of the great performance horses Kino produced. We are also very proud of
the excellent set of broodmares we have out of him. They have produced many
outstanding performers with great conformation. We were very fortunate to find
and own such an outstanding producer as Mr Kino Snip.
