"Sonic" is by the late Mr
Kino Snip (sire perf pt earners and arena champions), a grand-son of
Skip Fare who was a halter pt earner and sired AQHA champs, superior
halter and ROM arena horses. Skip Fare was by the great Skipper W,
a leading sire of AQHA champs, superior halter and perf horses, and ROM
race. Kino was by Kino Sniperoo on the bottom side, a dam of ROM arena
and show horses, a very nice mare. We
owned Kino for 17 years and raised many excellent horses out
of him. Kino's get went on to become very successful rodeo,
dressage, and ranch horses. Sonic's dam is by a
stallion we also owned named Sky Watch by the great Tiny
Watch (SI 100) who won $106,990 on the track and earned
20 halter points.
Sonic is running barrels, breakaway
roping, & heading steers. He is a barrel
racing & heading money earner & qualified for the MRA finals in 2008 & 2009,
where we won a round in the breakaway & 3rd in the average, both years. He is very cowy, can spin on a dime and can
really stop. This horse is quit an ATHLETE!! Sonic's excellent conformation and disposition
will surely make his colts awesome performers. We are currently
riding Sonics first offspring and they have excellent dispositions, are very
athletic, easy to handle and quick learners. Sonic was castrated in the
spring of 2006 but we do still have a few colts by him. |
